Privacy notice
This notice is not yet complete. UK GDPR requires a named data controller with a registered address. The company is currently being formed, so those fields are marked below and will be filled the day the company number is issued. Until then this page describes intended practice rather than a finalised legal notice, and it has not been reviewed by a solicitor.
Who is the data controller
PENDING INCORPORATION — the controller will be the incorporated company. Its registered name, number and registered office will be published here on formation.
What we collect
Only what you send us, and only for as long as it is useful to you:
- Enquiry details — your name, email address, and whatever you choose to write in your message.
- Aggregate analytics — page views and referrers, collected without cookies and without identifying individual visitors. See the cookie notice.
We do not collect special category data, and we do not ask for it.
Why we can process it
- Legitimate interests — replying to an enquiry you sent us.
- Contract — where we are delivering work for you.
- Legal obligation — retaining records required by UK company and tax law.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- We do not run a marketing mailing list.
- We do not use your business data to train AI models.
- We do not track you across other websites.
Who else sees it
Enquiry email currently reaches us through Google (Gmail), which acts as a processor. We are moving to Microsoft 365 and this notice will be updated when we do. This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes request metadata such as IP address in order to deliver and protect the site. Both act on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to delivered work are kept for six years, the retention period UK company and tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our processing it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this notice changes materially we will update the review date at the top of this page.
